It's 'hic hic' hurray time for top police officers!
A new order, for "improvement" of central police canteens on the lines of similar facilities provided to the Army, has ensured that the chiefs and Director Generals (DGs) of paramilitary forces like CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB will have "no limit" to obtain liquor henceforth.
The paramilitary forces, deployed for a variety of security duties, including border guarding and taking on anti-naxal operations, till now did not enjoy the facility of free liquor from their force canteens.
A new quota system has also been formulated for other officers and junior ranks of these forces to obtain liquor varieties like Whisky, Rum, Vodka and Beer amongst others from the vast network of police canteens spread across various formations of these forces in the country.
(1)While officials in the ranks of Special DGs and Additional DGs can have 14 bottles .
(2) Inspector Generals (IGs) and Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) can have 12 bottles
(3)all officers upto the rank of Commandants 10 bottles,
(4)Inspectors and Sub-inspectors -- six bottles
(5)while constabulary ranks can have 4 bottles during the same period.

When will these liquor canteen started at GC-Avadi, Tamil Nadu. Is this applicable for Retired personnel from CRPF. No news from GC/DIG Avadi. from Ex-SI Venu
Though CPC has been opened some years ago, but CPC is not yet providing the canteen facilities to the retired personnel. Army pensioners are getting liquor, whereas the personnel from CPMF are still not drawing liquor from CPC. What is going on? We are not getting any information either through our department or nearest master canteens.

sir, I think the order relating to the free liqour fascility has been declared by govt on may 2011, But the same has not reached yet. Is the govt is cheating us by making flattering orders

I was a retired from CISF. Even after declaration of Canteen facilities for CPMF, there is no such facilities are available for Serving as well as retired personnel in CPMF around in Madurai City. Request to provide CPMF canteen in Madurai city which will helpfull to the personnel those who are working in CPMF as well as retired from CPMF can avail these facilities.

as i belongs to cpmf i request all of the CPMF member raised your demand for army equivalent pay and allownaces as CPMF are not working in office 9 to 5 nor like a state police . we are fighting with naxal and terrorist like indian army and losing our men every day more than army. so we have to be given pay like army person .

I A.G.Swamy Retd D/C from CRPF am stating that the price of liquir per bottle rum, whisky,brandy etc is very high rate in the primary canteen at CRPF,GC,AVADI in comparing with CSD canteen.So I request that the price of liquir for every brand may be decreased in the margin of Rs 1/ or 2/ with the comparision of CSD canteen.

In some cpc canteens at crpf and bsf units liquor is supplied. But it is not at all available for.CISF. Why it is also a paramilitary force .

Though canteen liquor facilities are available in Group Centre,CRPF. Pallipuram,Trivandrum(Kerala)it is very difficult to go a person staying in Kasargod,Cannanore i.e.North Kerala area to go to Trivandrum to get the same. One has to be spent at least Rs 1000/- extra for such journey and other allied expdr. Hence it would be convenient and requires active consideration for the authorities concerned to establish a liquor supply in any CRPF HQrs presently located in Cannanore, Kasargod Distts.or nearby area say in North Malabar area to enjoy liquor availing facilities

defence services of india and cpmf cannot and should not be compared. the charter and role is completely different. had the case for comparison existed then cpmf would have handled the situation in J&K and Northeast on it's own. even today cpmf is not capable of handling such situations on it's own. the primary reason is the service culture in cpmf is very different from armed forces. the leadership of cpmf is very very questionable and definitely lacks the leaders and commanders which their jawans so ardently need. the quota of an army jawan getting 10 bottles of liquor has been earned by his forefathers through blood and toil. cpmf , however tough a job they may be doing can only do that to a certain extent. once they can't , the army is called in. so please desist from any sort of comparison. btw if you see the posts where army is deployed , most cpmf pers would ask for voluntary discharge from service, as was happening after Dantewada incident.

Its misleading to say that Armed Forces get free liquor. Its totally false. No Armed Forced personnel get or entitled to any free liquor.

I am retired from bsf and presently residing at kotdwar,Uttarakhand . Here running mini CPC where grocery items are being provided to all serving and retired CAPF personnel including state police personnel of the state , liquor also being provided through ex CAPF canteen as per authorisation to the retired CAPF personnel only at the same locality

I have served with CISF from 1985 to December 2019 as an Inspector. From the day of my appointment as an ASI in this Force, I am hearing a lot of promises from our senior Officers on account of facilities equal to Army like Force allowance, canteen, liquor store, ex servicemen status but all promises are only air born. I have appointed as ASI in 1988 and got only 02 promotion even having an outstanding/very good service records in entire service. We have no ranks in the grate pay of Rs 4800/- are exists and personal getting promotion from 4600/- to 5400/- but if anyone due for financial Up gradation, he is getting pay scale of 4800/- what a joke with the subordinate officers upto the rank of Inspector. Our
top/ higher level never bothered about the well being of troops upto Inspectors. So don't except something better from our Force heads

Only And Big Difference CAPF soldiers serving 60 yrs But The Army personnel only 17 yrs or 15 yrs At this Age they have lots of responsibility of Family after serving for her motherland India
